The KZN South Coast will light up this festive season with its #ParadiseLightsUp campaign, set to run throughout December.
The Facebook campaign encourages venues around the district to display festive lights features to attract visitors and give them added holiday fun. Visitors get a choice of participating venues to visit and take #ParadiseLightsUp selfies at the festive lights.
There is a competition and great prizes for both venues and visitors who participate. Prizes will be based on the number of Facebook Likes their photo entries get on the official Ugu South Coast Tourism contest pages Facebook.com/infosouthcoast.
Venues within the district can win their share of R15,000 (R5,000 each per business, residence and local area through the Local Area Committee).
Visitors can win their share of limited edition South Coast branded Christmas gifts from the latest microfibre swimming towels to picnic bags, caps, golf towels & more. Each participating venue is to have a visitor who wins!

The tourism and local businesses will benefit from added exposure and increased visitors as they compete for the top prizes. The locals and holidaymakers will have fun experiences at the various venues, as well as in taking part and increasing their chances in the competition.”
