Many educators have also realized the benefits in Outdoor Adventure Education for their learners and actively seek out experience-based learning opportunities that teach life skills or elements of the school curriculum.

Facilities

We offer outstanding, unique group accommodation in luxury dorms, bedding provided. 3 meals a day and activities included. Special teacher’s accommodation provided.

What we offer

Sweetdale is a school and youth camp in Margate on the South Coast. Teachers with their students are challenged with new adventuresand unique activities, which are designed to help them develop and improve their personal skills. The physical challenges of life in the outdoors helps to develop self-reliance and personal responsibility. Welcome to the World of Sweetdale.

Programs

We offer professional group dynamic processes and team building exercises both indoor and outdoor. These team-building exercises develop living skills through experiential learning activities.

Underlying themes include the importance of taking responsibility, setting goals and priorities, teamwork, cooperation and effective communication. For example: Building a raft. Sweetdale offers special programs to train prefects, programs for Primary, High School students and young adults.
